AERHAUS
A High-Design Hangar Residence by Adapt Designs
AERHAUS is a sculptural interpretation of space, structure, and light — a modern hangar residence envisioned and realized by Adapt Designs. Rooted in the principles of Scandinavian architecture, it transforms industrial heritage into residential elegance, merging engineering precision with natural warmth.
The concept begins with the hangar — an archetype of openness and purpose. Adapt Designs reimagines that clarity of form through a contemporary lens: expansive spans, restrained geometry, and a material palette defined by integrity. The result is a residence that feels both monumental and serene.
Inside, the long-span volume becomes a cathedral of light. Full-height glazing and exposed structural elements express honesty and proportion, while white oak, blackened steel, and polished concrete create a tactile dialogue between softness and strength. Spaces transition seamlessly — living, working, and resting zones defined not by walls, but by light, texture, and rhythm.
AERHAUS embodies Adapt Designs’ commitment to meaningful architecture: design that breathes, endures, and connects deeply with its environment. It is at once a dwelling and a statement — an exploration of form where air becomes structure, and structure becomes home.
